Taylor Cottle is a devoted cell biologist and biophysicist with experience and a deep interest in bringing biotechnology innovation to patients. He received his B.A. at the University of San Diego in Biochemistry and Music and is currently completing his PhD in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology at Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Carmen Peeß studied cell and molecular biology and specialized in molecular immunology and tumour biology. She worked with interdisciplinary project teams in the early product development of anti-tumour drugs, companion diagnostics and diagnostic products at Roche Diagnostics. Carmen joined AstraCon as a project manager and scientific advisor for the pharma and life science segment in 2015. Since then she has become an expert in regulatory affairs and quality management matters. Carmen became a managing director of AstraCon in summer 2017 and uses all her qualities to find solutions for the regulatory challenges of her customers.

Dr. Franziska Baumgarten, Senior Partner and Co-Founder of AstraCon GmbH

Dr. Franziska Baumgarten has over 20 years of experience in the MedTech market, having worked for four renowned Notified Bodies. To better support the customers, she founded AstraCon GmbH in 2015 in Germany. Since then, she has successfully consulted many start-ups and SMBs. Franziska, with her many years of expertise in the medical device sector loves to support clients when they are faced with tricky business decisions and complex strategic planning. With a lot of finesse and an eye for innovative ideas, she helps our clients understand that regulations can indeed be used as a powerful tool and how to leverage them for successful business development.

Atakan is a Masters in Financial Analysis at London Business School (LBS).

Prior to joining LBS, he worked at BeHive Consulting where he combined the insights from behavioral economics and finance with traditional management consulting methods and provided strategic advice to firms in fintech, insur-tech, telecommunication, and transportation companies.
